KIPP Baltimore Growth Plans

  • KIPP Baltimore plans to improve its effectiveness, and increase its impact, by educating children at earlier grade levels and by educating more children.
  • Starting with Kindergarten we will lead our students to achieve at even higher levels, and to be more firmly on the path to graduating from college.
  • At full growth KIPP Baltimore will graduate 250 eighth graders per year and operate three elementary and middle school programs located respectively in Northwest, East, and West Baltimore.
  • These students will never face the achievement gap.
  • The KIPP network nationally boasts a high school graduation rate of 90% and a post-secondary enrollment rate of 82%. At full-scale KIPP Baltimore will increase the post-secondary degree completion rate of BCPSS by more than one-third.
