KIPP Golf is supported by the Carrera's Individual Lifetime Sports Program. Currently, 5th graders of all ability levels participate for five weeks learning the fundamentals of golf, including rules, sportsmanship, etiquette , learn about the parts of the equipment and course.

The program is run by Bob Mokros, PGA member and golf professional at the Woodlands and Diamond Ridge Golf Courses in Windsor Mill, MD He is assisted by Dan Borowy, PGA apprentice working towards his PGA membership.

Students take away putting, chipping, full swing with irons and woods skills by learning parts of the swing - AIM , GRIP, STANCE and backward and forward swing. KIPPsters follow the two most important rules of golf...BE SAFE and HAVE FUN!
