Harmony Academy
KIPP Harmony Academy, started in 2009 and is led by Principal Natalia Walter, is a public charter elementary school that holds high expectations for student achievement that will put children on the path to college beginning in Kindergarten.
The school, located at 2810 Shirley Ave, Baltimore, MD 21215, will begin in August 2009 with Kindergarten and then grow over the next five years to an elementary school serving 625 students in grades K-4. KHA students will attend school for up to 9 hours per day and for 2-3 weeks in the summer.
KHA will provide regular field lessons outside of school, service learning, and daily art instruction. As the school grows, students will receive instruction in instrumental music. KHA's values are (B.R.I.G.H.T.) Be Brave, Reach, Innovate, Give, Honor and Today for Tomorrow.
