Lacrosse
Started in 2008, the KIPP boys' lacrosse was developed to provide a competitive team experience for interested seventh and eighth graders. Interspersed with lessons on throwing and catching are discussions of teamwork, sportsmanship, and commitment to a collective set of goals.
In its first year, the team scrimmaged Gilman and Calvert Hall, and in its second year, will participate in the Baltimore City Parks and People League in addition to playing a season-ending scrimmage with KIPP DC.
