KIPP Ujima Village Academy, founded in 2002 by KIPP Baltimore Executive Director Jason Botel, is now led by Principal Shawn Toler. KIPP Ujima is a public charter school serving 370 students in grades 5-8. KIPP Ujima is located in the Roland Patterson building at 4701 Greenspring Avenue in the Park Heights community in Baltimore City.
 
· Last year, KIPP Ujima Village Academy was once again one of the two highest-performing middle schools in Baltimore City. KIPP Ujima eighth-graders earned the 3rd highest scores in Maryland on the math section of the Maryland School Assessment (MSA), and the highest scores in Baltimore City both the reading and math sections of the MSA.
 
KIPP Harmony Academy, led by Principal Natalia Walter, is a public, college-preparatory elementary school located in Park Heights. The school, located at 2810 Shirley Ave., opened in August 2009. KIPP Harmony currently serves 250 students in grades K-1 and will grow to serve 600 students
in grades K-4.
 
· 86% of KIPP Harmony's first class of kindergarteners finished above grade level in reading,
and 62% finished above grade level in math.
 
 KIPP Through College, KIPP Baltimore's high school placement and alumni support program, guides students to gain admission to college-preparatory high schools and helps them succeed and stay on the path to and through four-year colleges.
 
· KIPP Baltimore Alumni continue to gain admission to and succeed at magnet high schools such as City, Poly, Western, School for the Arts, and Dunbar, as well as a number of prestigious private schools, including Bryn Mawr, Gilman, McDonogh, St. Paul's School for Girls, Roland Park Country School, and the Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, as well as West Nottingham, Deerfield, and Phillips Exeter.
 
· 88% of KIPP Ujima's first graduating class graduated high school in four years, and of those students, 100% earned admission to college (91% of them to four-year colleges).
